Hey there! My name is Melissa Condit and I am a conceptual designer with a passion for visual problem-solving.
Originally from central Pennsylvania, I earned my BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design at Tyler School of Art, of Temple University in Philadelphia. After graduating, I moved across the country to southern California where I joined AkinsParker, a full-service design and advertising agency in Santa Ana. During my 5-year tenure, I directed and designed for clients including LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Toyota Motor Sales, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Pacifica Hotels, Smile Brands, and Irvine Company.
Today, I am a Senior Designer at The Shipyard, a leading advertising agency with offices in Newport Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, and Columbus, Ohio. I am the lead designer for In-N-Out Burger with responsibilities including conceptualizing and designing in-store POP campaigns, signage, internal/HR designs, social media graphics, and campaigns for non-profit foundations.
I have 7 years of experience in the industry and my proficiencies include art direction, print and digital design, logo design, branding, layout, illustration, animation, and more. I also have a working knowledge of front-end coding and a desire to learn more in this skill set. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my husband and making amateur pottery on the wheel.
Feel free to take a look at my resume or send me an email at hello@melissacondit.com if you’re interested in getting in touch.
