“Ficklewood is a journey as much as it is a destination. It's where bold ideas are welcome and where dreams take shape.” —Stefan Enjem and Joe Farrier, Co-founders of Ficklewood Ciderworks

I composed surrealist photomontages from a combination of stock and historic public domain images, which were used on coasters and other collateral pieces.

The Ficklewood Ciderworks logo and apple icon were both hand-drawn and then converted to vector using a combination of live trace and meticulous refinement with the pen tool.

The taproom features a hand-painted mural using the air balloon cyclist I originally designed in Photoshop using a combination of stock and historic photography.

All lighting and furniture selections were carefully chosen to create a fully branded taproom experience. I also designed the wood plank facade for the main bar.

The tap handles were crafted from natural wood—lovingly named the "ficklesticks." Each flavor of cider was assigned a paint color. Founders Stefan Enjem and Joe Farrier pose in front of the Ficklewood apple logo painted on the exterior wall.

Various brand identity applications were used throughout the space and on merchandise.

Aluminum can labels were created for retail featuring the brand keyart. These are sold in the taproom and Vons Long Beach locations.

Co-founders Stefan Enjem and Joe Farrier celebrated Ficklewood Ciderworks' grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Ficklewood Ciderworks serves as a beloved third place for community social gatherings in the city of Long Beach, California.
