I composed surrealist photomontages from a combination of stock and historic public domain images which were used on coasters and other collateral pieces.
The Ficklewood Ciderworks logo and apple icon were both hand-drawn and then converted to vector using a combination of live trace and meticulous refinement with the pen tool.
The taproom features a hand-painted mural using the air balloon cyclist I originally designed in Photoshop using a combination of stock and historic photography.
All lighting and furniture selections were carefully chosen to create a fully branded taproom experience. I also designed the wood plank facade for the main bar.
Co-founders Stefan Enjem and Joe Farrier celebrated Ficklewood Ciderworks' grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Ficklewood Ciderworks serves as a beloved third place for community social gatherings in the city of Long Beach, California.
