Dr. McDougall Health & Medical Center
John McDougall, MD, is a physician, speaker, and best-selling author who advocates for a whole food, starch-based diet to treat chronic disease. Together with his wife, he co-founded The McDougall Program, a pioneering medical program dedicated to healing chronic illness through expert medical care and world-class education. I played a key role in the art direction and design for the Dr. McDougall Health & Medical Center, a grassroots, family-owned establishment. Working closely with an illustrator on my team, we developed a visual identity that reflected the center’s home-grown origins. Together, we created hand-drawn illustrations, custom patterns, and a new logo, resulting in an approachable yet professional look and feel. The culmination of this project was the development of a comprehensive brand guide to ensure consistent application of the brand across all materials.
